This guide was written by Ben Killed, our newest staff member. Below are strategys for making money for each skill in runescape. Happy Moneymaking!

 

 

The best way to make money here is to sell bars, Make and sell the best bar you can up to 85 smithing, then instead of selling your rune bars, smith them into rune items as they sell much better.

 

 

Basically just mine the best ore you can for the best moneymaking, unless you want to smith.

 

 

Levels 1-30 - Shrimp/Anchovies

30-40 - Trout and Salmon

40-50 - Lobsters

50-76 - Swordies

77-99 - Sharks

 

 

Levels 1-13 - Air Runes

14-34 - Mind/Air Runes

35-43 - Chaos Runes

44-53 - Nature Runes

54-99 - Law Runes

 

 

Woodcutting isnt much for money until you get to level 45 and chop maples. Chop and sell those until level 60 and then chop yews until level 75. From 75 and on, chop and sell magic logs.

 

 

Herblaw isnt the best moneymaker, once you hit 37, prayer potions sell good. Super Sets, Ranging Potions, and Weapon Poisons also sell good.

 

 

Fletching is perhaps the second best cash skill. Up to 50 Fletching, just make the best bow you can and do not string them. When you hit 50, you might want to consider stringing and alching your maple bows. When you get 65 Fletching, you should definately string your yew bows and then alch them.

 

 

Thieving is not as good a moneymaker as it was in runescape classic, but it is still useful.

1-15 = Men and women

Route A. 16-40 = Cake Stalls, this is great because you will obtain huge amounts of food that can be used later.

Route B. 16-25 = Farmers

                26-40 = Warriors/Warrior Women.

40-65 = Guards

66-81 = Knights

82-99 = Heroes

            

Crafting isnt too much for money, heres what I suggest for best xp

1-10 = Clay Items

Route A. 11-57 = Bowstrings, If p2p

Route B. 11-16 = More Clay Items(f2p)

                16-57 = Holy Symbols(f2p)

57-99 = Crafting becomes very difficult for f2p after a while, for members, after you hit 57, make alot of dragon leather, or you can always make more bowstrings. Sorry, but if youre f2p, good luck getting to 99....
